If Lakshmi is the grain, then Alakshmi is the bran. If Lakshmi is the juicy pulp of a fruit, then Alakshmi is the seed which can't be eaten.    Whenever Lakshmi enters a house, Alakshmi accompanies her into that house in the form of quarrels. The two always comes together.               Everyone accepts Lakshmi and desires for gifts that accompany her but no one accepts Alakshmi but simply rejects her.               Lakshmi is love, affection and Alakshmi is conflict.
